Farmhouse Master Bathroom Remodel

When we moved into our home 4 years ago, we pretty much touched every room in the house except the master bathroom.  It was spacious & had everything we needed for it to function.  We didn't have money in the budget to fully redo it, so we decided to wait to do anything to this space. Earlier this year my husband was giving the kids a bath & his foot went through the sheetrock due to a leak we didn't know about.  Our shower pan had ripped & water was leaking up from under the shower.  The shower had to be completely gutted, so we figured we would go ahead & redo the entire bathroom to fit our needs & taste. 

You can see below how dark & dated the bathroom was, and it was a lot bigger than our needs.  I didn't need that large of an area to get ready in.  

BEFORE

I decided to use the large vanity area & take it in as part of my closet, so now our bathroom is smaller, yet more functional for us & my closet is bigger--win win in my book.  

We added shiplap to the entire room, a free standing tub, pretty chandelier & marble look a like tile to complete the shower. 

AFTER

Light, airy with a few rustic elements was the goal for this space.  I couldn't be more happy with the way it turned out!
