4th of July Decor & Our Favorite Margarita!
Happy 4th of July (in advance) friends! We hope you’re able to spend the holiday with loved ones and friends while celebrating this great country we get to call home. Are you hosting or attending a party? Either way, can we get real about holiday-themed decor? It can be really frustrating to buy decor for certain one-day holidays because you spend the money on themed-decor, use it for a day, shove it in a closet until next year and then either reuse it or go buy something different. Anyone else agree?
For this reason, we’ve put together pieces that are festive for the 4th of July but great to use the rest of the year! A simple, blue, cotton table cloth is festive for the 4th but great to leave on the table all year. Wicker chargers? Great for summer and any other time you’re entertaining! All of the pieces we’ve linked below can be used on the 4th or any other day of the year. PLUS, each item is either eligible for Amazon Prime so you can have it well before the 4th of July!

Our Favorite Skinny Margarita
We’re big margarita lovers over here at Moore House Interiors! Larson shared her skinny marg recipe with the team one day and now it’s our go-to drink to make at home! Low sugar, low cal, low maintenance… just how we like ‘em! Try these out on the 4th of July, your next girl’s night or just when you need an after-work cocktail. Be sure to tag us @moorehouseinteriors or use #moorehousemarg on social media if you try it out!
Moore House Marg
-Tequila (your favorite, however much you like)
-Ice
-Sparkling water (Topo Chico or plain Le Croix sparkling water if you want something with less sodium)
-100% pure maple syrup
-1-2 limes
-Sliced jalapeños (for a little kick, totally optional)
Put ice in your favorite glass. Prior to adding ice, you can salt the rim using a lime and margarita salt if you’d like. Pour in tequila (however much you want/need), sparkling water, fresh squeezed lime juice from one or two limes, add a dash of maple syrup and throw in a few jalapeno slices if you want a touch of spice. Stir with a spoon (remember, ‘stir with a knife, stir up strife’!) so that the drink is mixed. Enjoy! You’re waistline will enjoy too!
