Celebrating the Season of Advent
Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year for so many reasons but one big reason is because we celebrate the season of Advent! Advent is the ‘season’ that leads up to Christmas and it’s when we pray and reflect in preparation of the birth of Jesus. We celebrate Jesus’ birth, life, death and resurrection while also celebrating His presence in our lives. I love Advent because my family and I can spend time focused on the true meaning of Christmas, beyond the gifts, shopping, parties and hoopla.
